LOVE Launch Party A “Soda & Sweets” Reception to Celebrate the Arts & Asbury Park! Thursday, January 19th, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at SICA: The Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts: Please join us as we unveil 12 original pieces of art to be showcased throughout 2012 as part of the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce’s monthly postcard series promoting First Saturday Asbury Park. Guest will enjoy old fashioned soda from Wild Bill’s Soda, bakery sweets from Confections of a Rockstar Bakery and live music by singer/songwriter Laura Monzo. This reception will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at SICA, The Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts at 610 Cookman Avenue (also accessible via 607 Lake Ave.) in Asbury Park, NJ. The artists whose work will be featured are Colleen Bang, Beppo, Mike Black, Joseph Borzotta, James Cordasco, Jimmy Leslie, Angie Mason, Billy Mecca, Ray Sternesky, Anita Strand, and Ray Yeager. This reception is free, open to the public, and sponsored by SICA, ArtsCAP, Confections of a Rockstar Bakery, Wild Bill’s Soda, and Bands on a Budget.
